Kite!
Well, we went to the playground to fly a kite yesterday, and I think the weather may have set a record for least wind ever. The kids still had a great time!
Eric had a great time, too!
The reason we have a kite now is that the little one earned it as a prize at school for being a good friend. We, of course, are very proud, and she, of course, wanted to fly it immediately.
I hear Charlie Brown saying, "Drat!"

(P.S. Expect a phone call early on Monday!)
Being a good friend is wonderful! And a kite is fun to run around with even on a still and breeze-free evening. Love, Grandma
ReplyDeleteLove the excitement that everyone can share on a windless, kite-flying day. Being together is what matters most.
