Sectional Love

Our new sofa for the addition came 6-7 months early (well, actually it came 2-3 months early and we ordered it too early because it was on a huge sale). ANYWAY, I think it's a hit!

Even though our living room is now 80% sofa, it'll be a nice place to sprawl over the next few months.

Star Wars

The little guy walks to school with a friend most days, and they are both obsessed with Star Wars. It's cute. I was walking home from lunch with the kids on Saturday, and they both had sticks they were pretending were light sabers.

My legs and arms were chopped off over and over again, but they kept me safe from all the storm troopers!

Change of Pace

We're starting a new project soon-- an addition to our house! We're removing the current addition and replacing it with something bigger and better. We just got a builder sign in the yard!

I'm going to start tracking the work on the blog, so that's the change of pace around here.

A different playground

The little guy had baseball practice tonight at the field with a playground. Yay! Look at what my baby can do:

She climbed the whole thing all by herself! Over and over and over.

Perfect Weather

Today was gorgeous! I tried a new recipe for dinner that was fantastic, and then we walked to the playground. You can see the little guy over in the sand in this picture.

Both kids have skinned knees. I guess that's another way to tell that it's getting close to summer!

Bubble wrap!

We are packing up the back room of our house to get ready for the addition (squee!!), and we needed some bubble wrap. The kids helped me carry this massive roll to the car.

It barely fit in the trunk!!

Success!

It's been chilly in the morning this week, and the little dude has lost all of his jackets. I took a flashlight with me to pick him up at school, and we found two of his sweatshirts in the lost and found. Wahoo!

His fleece is still missing, but at least he has something warm for tomorrow.

37!!

Yesterday was Eric's birthday. After the little dude's baseball game, we had dinner at a restaurant of Eric's choosing.

Bubbles!

The baby and I got to spend some quality time outside today. She had a great time blowing bubbles!!

Naps!

The baby has been refusing to nap on weekends for at least a year. If, however, we are in the car around nap time, this is what happens:

Baseball for days!!

Baseball in person AND baseball on tv. This is a happy time of year for our family.
