Spring has sprung! I went to the garden center this afternoon and picked up some veggies and some new annuals for the planter by our front door. The kids helped me plant the vegetable garden after dinner.
They are wearing mittens as their work gloves. Hilarious.
The baby was able to help out a bit more this year. She used a spoon (trowel) and a fork (cultivator).
We planted tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, parsley, and cantaloupe! I'm excited to see what ends up doing well, and I'm hoping for some yummy cantaloupe.
Lovely! All that tasty produce will be such fun to eat! love, Grandma
ReplyDeleteWorking together to plant then eating everything later. Good lessons for the little ones.
