He's not nearly as chubby as that diet would suggest, though. I think it's because he's moving all the time... he even looks like he's crawling in his sleep.


This was pre-DQ, but he already looks like trouble.
He tried to eat a handful of sand, salt water and coquinas-- yuck! I think I got most of them out of his mouth... I guess we'll find out in a day or two. He's a little young for raw shellfish, especially with the shell included.
Here he is with his Gramps and his dad after dinner.
He had a bottle and a bite of cheesesteak. You're never too young for cheesesteak, amirite?
After he ate his fill of sand and fruit, he played with shoes!


The little dog stations himself at the foot of the highchair and just waits for the hail of food. I think food is the driving force behind the little dog's appreciation of the baby.
Please ignore the boxes in the background. We're almost done unpacking.
He loves wires, outlets, and anything sharp and he moves really fast.
The big dog has found a refuge from the madness on the stairs. She's all "Keep him down there and I'll stay riiiight here."
He's been crawling for a while, but he's just starting to realize that he can really go places. 
His smile is a little funky from the puffiness. He's still hurtling around like he's invincible, though, so he clearly didn't learn a thing.
She likes to lick him back. I can't decide which is worse: that the kid licks the dogs or that the dogs lick the kid. They're both pretty gross, really.
The real issue here, though, is that his dismount could use a little work.
I don't think I could do a chin-up, but I've never tried using both hands and my mouth.
He's clearly a genius.
