He had his first homemade baby food this morning-- pea puree from the book "Cooking for Baby."

I think it was a hit!

He's really fascinated with the spoon. He like to grab it and put it in his mouth and pass it from hand-to-hand. He ends up covered in food.

His high chair is so cool (thanks Nana!). It pulls right up to the dining room table, so he can sit and eat with us! It also adjusts into a booster seat and eventually an adult chair that holds up to 300 pounds. He's almost 15 pounds right now, so I think this chair will fit him for a long time. This is him
pre-pea.
The green peas, green sleeper, and green high chair were a coincidence, though. He won't always color-coordinate with his food.
